Content MarketerProblem: A financial literacy startup, VANA Finance, reached out to me with the goal of increasing their brand presence across social media.
Challenges: I had to start from scratch, they had no social media accounts on Instagram, Facebook, or Tiktok. Their future growth as a company fully relied on their social media reach. Outcome: I began posting short form video content in July which consisted of finance hacks, investing tips, and business news. After 45 days, the videos I made had reached over 1 million unique users on Instagram and Tiktok. To the right, you can see some of the videos I made that received traction on Tiktok. At the end of the three months working for VANA, my videos reached over 1.6 million users and I built a growing community of 1,900+ financially literate users. Head of Social MediaProblem: Impact Snacks had a lame and typical instagram following/community.
Challenges: There are thousands of startups who use Instagram as their main source of revenue and growth as a brand, so it is extremely competitive. They started with roughly 6,500 followers on Instagram. Outcome: Brainstormed unique content forms to stand out from the competition. Ultimately came up with the idea of posting 3 memes a week, as shown to right, 2 product photos a week, and 1 graphic a week. It was my role to organize what to post and when. An example meme that I made is shown to the right. On the weekends we would also post Instagram reels to diversify our content. At the end of my 8 months we had over 8,500 followers.
